Are you a new puppy parent or wanting more skills to train you adolescent/adult dog? Look no further! Our expert instructor, Holly Saitz, is here to guide you through the essential foundation training and manners your furry friend needs.

Holly is one of our dedicated and certified dog trainers with an impressive background. Holly works with in our Doghouse program, and we are thrilled to have her start up classes! Holly has a very impressive background in positive reinforcement training, here is some of her certifications and experience so you can feel safe knowing that you will be getting the best training for your dog.
Puppy School is for puppies that are between the ages of 8 weeks to 16 weeks of age. In this 4 week class your puppy will meet new friends and learn how to explore the world creating a confident and well adjusted dog in the future. Through the power of positive reinforcement you will learn to teach your puppy the basic foundation behaviours that will be the building blocks for a successful and healthy relationship with your pup.
Prerequisites:
– Upon registration puppies need to be 8 week to 16 weeks of age
– First set of vaccinations 7 days prior to first class
– Proof of vaccinations from a veterinarian, or if vaccinations were done by a breeder, a clean bill of health is required by a veterinarian 7 days prior to first class
What’s Covered in Puppy Foundation:
In our Puppy Foundation classes, we cover everything your young pup needs to thrive:
Puppy Starter Classes ($195.00 + tax):
Thursdays – November 14, 21 & 28, 2024 – 5:30pm to 6:15pm
Holiday Prep ($130.00 + tax):
Thursdays – November 21 & 28, 2024 – 6:30pm to 7:30pm
Mind Your Manners class is for dogs 5 months and older. In 4 weeks you will learn how to get your dog to engage with you while out and about. We will also cover the foundation behaviours and how you can start to apply them into real life situations. Some of these behaviours are recall, loose leash walking, relaxation station, targeting, release cue, and so much more!
Prerequisites:
– Upon registration all dogs must be 5 months of age or older
– Must be up to date on all vaccinations and be able to provide proof
– Must be good with people and other dogs (if your dog is reactive to people/dogs please contact for private sessions or for more information)
What’s Covered in Adult Manners Classes:
In our Adult Manners classes, we focus on refining your dog’s behaviour and building a stronger bond:
Semi Private – for dogs 10 months and up ($130.00 + tax):
Dates TBA – 12:00pm to 1:00pm
