LAPS is excited to introduce a new way to support our donor-funded programs while providing a fun experience for dogs in our community! By opening our front yard as a Sniffspot location, we’re creating a safe and engaging space for dogs to explore while also generating much-needed funds to support the animals in our care. Every booking directly helps to provide food, medical treatment, and shelter for rescue animals—making a difference in their lives while giving your pup a special adventure.
As well, this new initiative will help fund stray and injured cat care, Major’s Legacy Fund (which assists low-income pet owners with veterinary costs), the Pet Food Bank, Spay and Neuter Vouchers, and emergency boarding—all essential programs that support families and their pets in our community.
What is Sniffspot?
Sniffspot provides safe, private spaces for dogs to play and exercise. Unlike public dog parks, Sniffspot locations only allow one booking at a time, ensuring a controlled environment. Hosts (LAPS) have full control over their availability, and every dog guardian must register and certify their dog’s vaccination status. Spaces can range from backyards to open fields, making them a great option for pet guardians looking for a secure place for their dogs.
