The Langley Animal Protection Society agrees to exercise due reasonable care and keep their kennel premises sanitary and properly enclosed. The pet is to be fed properly and regularly, and to be housed in clean, safe quarters.
All dogs boarded, trained, or otherwise handled by the Langley Animal Protection Society will be cared for with due diligence. However, the Society is not liable for loss or damage due to disease, health issues, running away, theft, fire, injury to persons, other dogs, or property, provided that due care has been exercised. Dogs will not be removed from the premises without consent from management.

If the dog becomes seriously ill, the owner shall be notified at once. If the owner is not available, the emergency contact provided will be contacted. If the owner or emergency contact does not inform immediately regarding the measures to be taken, or if the state of the dog’s health reasonably demands quick action, THE LANGLEY ANIMAL PROTECTION SOCIETY shall have the right to call a veterinarian of our choice or to take said dog to the veterinarian in either case, or administer medicine or give other advisable attention, within THE LANGLEY ANIMAL PROTECTION SOCIETY’s discretion and judgement. Such expenses, being reasonable in amount, shall be paid promptly by the owner of the pet. If any charges for boarding, training, medicine, or veterinary services are not paid upon presentation of a written statement requesting such payment, within ten days of time, or if the pet is not called for within ten days after time for return of the dog, the dog will be sold within days after this period by THE LANGLEY ANIMAL PROTECTION SOCIETY publicly, privately, or otherwise for the best price available.

Notice in writing of such intended sale shall be mailed by registered mail to the owner of the dog at the address given hereon, not less than ten days of such intended sale and no further notice shall be deemed necessary.
Any excess amount overcharges will be given to the owner; any deficiency is to be paid by the owner.
The owner represents that he is the legal owner of said dog. That title to said dog is not to be mortgaged in any way and that said dog has not been exposed to distemper or rabies within the last thirty days, and that the required annual license has been obtained.
