Dog License Information
City of Langley Animal Control Bylaw No. 2622
Township of Langley Animal Control Bylaw No. 4440
Every dog over the age of 4 months in the Township of Langley and 6 months in the City of Langley must have a valid dog licence. Dog licences are issued and valid for one calendar year. Please note that only 2 dogs are permitted per address in both the City and Township of Langley.
***The City of Langley and the Township of Langley are separate municipalities. If you are unsure which municipality you live in, please call 604-857-5055 prior to purchasing your new dog licence online.***
A new tag will only be mailed for a new dog that has not received its permanent tag. Permanent tags were issued in 2021.

PURCHASE NEW. Use this link if you do not have an existing Township of Langley dog licence account or you wish to add a new dog to your account. You may also pay by phone 604-857-5055 or in person at the Langley Animal Protection Society (26220 56 Ave).
Annual dog license renewal notices are mailed to dog owners in December. If paid by February 1st, a discount is available as noted in the fee schedule below.
