LAPS is a small organization doing big things in Langley for lost, stray, and unwanted animals. Each year, we care for more than 1500 animals. Many of them need medical care, training, and exercise and it takes the whole community to make this happen. Without our volunteers, we can’t continue our life saving work.
If you think that volunteering with LAPS is right for you, please take a moment to read the following:
- Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age;
- Volunteers must complete a general orientation and any additional training sessions before starting;
- Volunteers must be able to commit to volunteering 2 hours or more per week for a period of 6 months; and
- Volunteers must have sufficient strength and fitness to meet volunteer position requirements (will vary).
