Because lost pets know no boundaries, LAPS has partnered with Petlynx to help get them home sooner. Petlynx is a web-based pet recovery system that uses basic animal descriptions to make successful matches between lost and found pet reports. Matches can be made for animals that may have crossed municipal, provincial or country boundaries.

How Does it Work?

The LAPS Petlynx system is simple. By directing all callers who have lost or found pets to the Petlynx website, a database of lost animals is created. Potential matches are emailed directly to your email address for you to review. If you feel you have a match, then it is up to you to contact the person who posted the report.

How do you File a Lost/Found Report?

Go to the Petlynx site and follow the instructions if you have lost or found an animal.
If you have found a dog in Langley (Township or City), please contact the Patti Dale Animal Shelter and an Animal Control Officer will collect the dog.

Need help filing a report? Call the Patti Dale Animal Shelter at 604-857-5055 and a LAPS staff member would be happy to walk you through the process.
