“I am pleased with my selection as Volunteer of the Season,” said Cindy. Cindy’s weekly visits to the Cat Cottage began five years ago when LAPS first started up. “I think my husband Chris deserves to share in this recognition,” she added. “He was with me at the beginning when a handyman was needed to help convert the old kennel into a useable space for LAPS.”

The care of the cats is Cindy’s “baby” and to this day all her hard work and effort are directed toward their happiness and comfort. “I enjoy helping the cats – they were my first love,” said Cindy. “I also enjoy working with the LAPS staff as they are a great bunch and care so much about the animals.”
