LAPS First Annual Fall Gala
We are excited to announce our First Annual Fall Gala at Newlands Golf & Country Club on Friday, November 7th, 2008.
This event is dedicated to the memory of Patti Dale, a LAPS founding member. We will also be celebrating the fifth anniversary of LAPS, and the completion of the new Patti Dale Animal Shelter.
The evening will include a buffet dinner, live entertainment by Wallstreet and a silent and live auction. Funds raised will be used to purchase animal care equipment for the new Patti Dale Animal Shelter. Much needed items include cat condos, isolation cages for cats, a dog scale, pet grooming equipment, a veterinarian examination table, dog training equipment, and materials for the resource centre.
We are asking for your support for this event. Your donation of new items for the silent and live auction is essential to the event's success. We are happy to accept donations in the form of goods or gift certificates. All donors will be recognized on our website, and contributors of items valued at $500 or more will be recognized in The Langley Advance following the event. Income tax receipts for “donations in kind” will also be issued.
Please help us make a difference to lost, abandoned and unwanted animals in the Langley community by joining us with your family and friends for what promises to be a fun-filled and successful evening! Tickets go on sale in early September and are limited. Contact us today for more details, thank you in advance for your support.
