As a monthly donor, you truly are a hero for animals. Your generous donations go directly to animal care, medical costs, rehabilitation and education. Monthly donations provide regular support that LAPS can count on and offers many animals a second chance at a happy life.
Your monthly gift is deducted from your bank account or credit card. In return for your support, you will receive:

With your support LAPS can continue to care for more than 100 dogs and 40 cats every month. Your donation will help us raise orphaned kittens, provide medical care for neglected animals, teach previously unwanted dogs how to live successfully with their new families and much more.

At the beautiful Patti Dale Animal Shelter we do our best to provide a happy temporary home for the dogs and cats who stay with us. As part of our “Sell the Shelter” campaign, you have the opportunity to buy or lease one of our beautiful dog suites or cat condos.
For the dog lover, our adoptable dog suites are the perfect investment. They feature radiant heat, 128 square feet of living space with an outdoor patio and daily maid service. These gems are priced to sell at $5000 for a 10 year lease, $1000 for a one year lease or $100 per month for a minimum of one year.
If you’re more of a cat person, consider one of our beautifully appointed four-level cat condos. Each condo features indoor plumbing, central air and daily maid service. These hot properties are priced to sell at $3000 for a 10 year lease, $600 for a one year lease or $75 per month for a minimum of one year.
Like they say in the real estate game, it’s all about location, location, location. These properties are located in high traffic areas of the shelter with lots of exposure. As the owner of one of these coveted pieces of real estate, you will receive a “deed” to the property and a personalized name plaque on the door.

If the thought of birthday and holiday shopping makes you cringe, look no further. Whatever the occasion, you can make the perfect donation in honour of a loved one. The animal lover in your life will be sure to appreciate a gift that goes toward the care of animals in need.
Gifts for Dog Lovers
Room and Board – $25
All dogs who stay at LAPS receive quality care, including a clean, cozy kennel, good food, fresh water and any necessary medical care. Your gift will provide these necessities to one dog for one day.
Vet Exam – $50
LAPS regularly sees dogs who have never received proper medical care. A veterinary check-up helps provide us with the information we need to prepare dogs for their forever homes. Your donation will pay for a check up for one of the many dogs we treat every year.
Dog Neuter – $75
By providing the funding to neuter one male dog, you are helping to control the pet overpopulation crisis. One wandering intact male dog can sire thousands of puppies in his lifetime. Your contribution will help keep unwanted animals from winding up in shelters.
Dog Spay – $125
Did you know that one unspayed female and her mate can go from a cute pair of dogs to over 2000 dogs and puppies in just 4 years if none of the offspring are spayed or neutered? Your donation will help us continue to fight pet overpopulation.
Gifts for Cat Lovers
Room and Board – $10
Cats that wind up at LAPS receive all the necessities of life plus a few creature comforts, such as toys and hiding places, to help keep them relaxed and happy. Your contribution will help provide a cat with a safe, comfortable, temporary home.
Vet Exam – $25
Basic medical care is a necessity that LAPS provides to all cats in our care. Health issues need to be checked out and treated before cats can go to their new homes. Your donation will pay for a check up for one cat.
Cat Neuter – $50
At only six months of age a male cat can begin mating. One unneutered male can be responsible for thousands of kittens in his lifetime. Your gift will help control the cat overpopulation problem.
Cat Spay – $75
One un-spayed female cat can produce a staggering number of offspring in her lifetime. LAPS spays and neuters every cat that comes into our care. Your contribution will help prevent thousands of unwanted and abandoned cats.
