Donations to LAPS helps take care of the many shelter cats and dogs. Your generous donations go directly to animal care, medical costs, rehabilitation and education. Donations allow many animals to be saved and have a second chance at a healthy, normal life.
LAPS welcomes one-time contributions as well as monthly donations. Monthly donations can be discontinued at any time. Tax receipts will be provided for amounts over $20.
What your donation is used for?
- Veterinary bills
- Training materials and equipment
- Educational materials
- Spay & neuter surgeries for population control
Below are some examples how your donations can help LAPS animals:
- $10 – 1 dog training collar, 1 large Kong, 5 bags of cat litter, or 2 leashes
- $20 – vaccinations for 1 dog, 1 microchip or a de-flea/de-worm treatment for 1 cat/dog
- $25 – feeds 2 cats for 1 month
- $35 – feeds 1 dog for 1 month
- $50 – 1 cat spay or neuter or 1 set of x-rays for a dog
- $75 – 1 dog neuter
- $125 – 1 dog spay
- $250 – basic dental cleaning for 1 dog
- $1000 – obedience train a shelter dog for 1 month
